Legends of the Fall, Am\u00e9lie, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and even an ABBA medley\u2026 they all featured last Saturday evening during the CineMusic premiere in the Zaantheater in Zaandam. <\/em><\/p>\n

Premiere in Zaantheater<\/h6>\n

It was the kick-off of the tour that runs through May 2026. The CineMusic orchestra, conducted by Henk Ummels, is once again touring theaters throughout the Netherlands, but this time with a completely new repertoire. Visitors are treated to the most beautiful pieces of music from 20 films by, among others, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Ennio Morricone and Yann Tiersen, while watching carefully chosen fragments from the accompanying films. <\/p>\n

Film music that touches<\/h6>\n

During previous tours and The Night of CineMusic in the Royal Concertgebouw, the large orchestra proved that it is rightly called the film orchestra of the Netherlands. The musicians also showed what they are capable of during the premiere. The film music regularly caused goosebumps in the hall. Or as one visitor said afterwards: \u201cThe orchestra knows how to touch you to the depths of your soul with the music they play. And the film scenes fit perfectly with the music. That makes the experience complete.\u201d But there were also more light-hearted reactions. Many people went home with a list of films they want to see again or for the first time. <\/p>\n

Energetic presentation by Mioch<\/h6>\n

The show was presented by Ren\u00e9 Mioch. Mioch energetically told the best anecdotes and special facts about the films and the composers of the music. The anniversary celebrant (40 years of film journalism) will also be part of the tour through the Netherlands next season. <\/p>\n
