September 12, 2025 promises to be an unforgettable evening. For the first time, the CineMusic orchestra will play in Amsterdam. We will do so at the city’s most beautiful location: the Concertgebouw.
The large CineMusic film orchestra will be supplemented this evening with the film choir. Together they will play the most beautiful film music from some 20 world-famous films. While you enjoy the music, a shortened version of each film will be shown on the large white screen. The carefully chosen film scenes have been edited in such a way that they tell the story and completely immerse you in the atmosphere. Moreover, the film scenes run synchronously with the music, which ensures an intense experience of each film.
The host during The Night of CineMusic is René Mioch. He presents the concert show and tells anecdotes about the music, the composers and the directors, giving you a look behind the scenes. Extra special: this evening René Mioch celebrates his forty-year anniversary as a film journalist.
It promises to be a magical evening.
Regular ticket sales for this concert show start on April 23. If you register now for the presale, you will get priority on these ticket sales and you can already buy tickets from April 18 to 22.
