Fans of film, music, and great stories are in for a treat this coming theater season. Starting in September, The CineMusic Experience orchestra will be touring the country with René Mioch. Let yourself be moved by the most beautiful film music accompanied by the best clips from the greatest movies.
CineMusic in a nutshell
If you manage to get tickets, you’re guaranteed a special evening. During the concert show, a large orchestra performs musical pieces from more than 20 world-famous films. At the same time, the original film footage is shown on a large screen. Film expert René Mioch shares stories about the films and the actors in them between the pieces. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget.

The program is presented by none other than René Mioch. As a film journalist, Mioch has been creating film programs for Dutch television for over 35 years. During this time, he has interviewed movie stars like Tom Cruise, Sharon Stone, and Johnny Depp, and spoken with legendary composers such as Hans Zimmer and John Williams. Mioch’s knowledge of film and his interviews with actors, directors, and composers are an integral part of the show. He will share stories from his own experience that you would otherwise never hear.
On the program
The CineMusic Experience orchestra consists of 36 passionate, professional musicians. Led by conductor Henk Ummels, pianist Ruud Luttikhuizen, and first violinist Hester van der Vlugt, they perform the most beautiful musical pieces from over twenty films. The full-evening program includes music from James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spirit, Forrest Gump, The Imitation Game, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Out of Africa, Schindler’s List, and The Jungle Book. Additionally, the audience will be treated to soundtracks from very recent films.
